Meet Mr. Ronnie Oon
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common cancers in many countries. It is ranked 1st in Singapore1 and Hong Kong2, 3rd in Indonesia3 and Malaysia4.
The good news is that it is very treatable when detected early with a regular faecal immunochemical test (FIT) – also known as faecal occult blood test5 – or a colonoscopy.
Moreover the American Cancer Society (ACS) recommends that all adults aged 50 and over receive a FIT yearly and a colonoscopy every 10 years6.
If you are stopping by Singapore and have not received a FIT or a colonoscopy, why not do so while you're there?
Remember when it comes to health, being early is always better than being late.
